One click leaves a Note on the sheet: the Subject in the box, the Content in a pop-up, and an optional Arrow that travels with it. Save PDF writes that pair the way Revu groups a note. Select two or more markups and the bar shows a total by type instead of "N selected". A public page offers the Windows desktop app when a signed build is published. On dev, AI enrichment can mark the page markers and view titles a model reads; that stays off in production.
Note sits in All Tools, after Callout, and N arms it. A click puts down a one-line note, Subject "Note", with a note icon at the left of the first line, and opens its pop-up with the Subject selected so typing replaces it. Tab moves to Content. A press-drag sets the width instead, and the Subject wraps in it. Subject and Content are edited in the pop-up, never on the sheet. The pencil, a double-click, or Esc finishes the edit; Done does too. Drag the pop-up by its header and it stays where you leave it for that note. The Icon chip swaps PDF's seven note icons. Clearing the Subject puts "Note" back, so the icon is never sitting on a blank box. The tool stays armed. (#838, ENG-355)
The Arrow switch adds an arrow out of the side facing its tip, with a short horizontal knee. The elbow and the tip edit like a Callout's leader: the elbow moves in and out, and dragged around the box it takes the base to another side. The note and the arrow select, move, copy and delete together, and list as one row. Save PDF (Editable) writes a PDF note — Subject, comment and icon — and groups the arrow with it the way Revu groups markups. A PDF note from Bluebeam or Acrobat comes back in as a Note. It used to come in as a picture. (#838, ENG-355)
With two or more markups selected, the name slot is a Total chip instead of "N selected". One measuring type shows its icon and its total. Several types show "Totals". Nothing that measures shows the icons and the count, and the chip does not open. Opening it lists Type, Qty and Total, each type in the singular (Length, Area), then Selected, and Copy for Excel. Length, Polylength and Perimeter add in length; Area in area; Volume in volume; Count in points. Diameter, Radius and Angle list a quantity only. Each markup adds the number its own label shows, including a typed length, and a selection across the drawing and the spec adds across both. (#831)
On dev, the project menu can run AI enrichment. It is a paid model pass, about $0.12 a sheet; the menu states the estimate and asks for a second click. The run finds page markers and view titles and draws them on the sheet. Hover reads what was found. With Pan or Select armed, clicking a marker opens the sheet it names, zooms to the view and flashes it. Show detected marks turns the overlay off. The flag ui:aiEnrichment is review: on for layrbuild.dev and local, off on layrbuild.app. (#828, #829)
/download is open without signing in. It offers Layr PDF for Windows 10 or later, 64-bit, when a signed stable installer is published, and says a download isn't available yet when one is not. The file comes straight from storage. Mac is not offered. (#834, ENG-354)
110_page_marks.sql adds project_reference_runs.pipeline (default v1-links) and mark_count, the page_marks table, and publish_page_marks / link_page_marks for the service role. Existing sheet-link runs stay v1-links. The new table stays empty until someone runs AI enrichment. layrbuild.dev already applied it on the deploy for #828 (deploy 38649541999). Production applies this same file when this release merges, through deploy.yml, before the new code. Do not apply it by hand, and do not edit the file.tool:ann-note is released, so Note is on in production. ui:aiEnrichment is review: on for layrbuild.dev and local, off for layrbuild.app. No other flag changed. No npm dependencies changed./download on production reads the stable feed and withholds unsigned builds. Until a signed stable Windows installer is published, the page says a download isn't available yet. Dev may show a labeled unsigned beta. Leave DESKTOP_ALLOW_UNSIGNED_PREVIEW false on main../layr bluebeam check needs Windows and Revu. /Layr still brings the pair back into Layr as one markup./download has no Mac build. Production has nothing to download until a signed stable installer is published.
